(Evgeny Voitsekhovich, Director General of RUE "Minsk Aircraft Repair Plant") Today 8 airplanes of the ministries of Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine are being repaired by the Minsk aircraft repair plant. 99% of orders are export. Several more planes will arrive at the plant for repair by the end of the year. 5 more planes will arrive at airport "Minsk-1" from the West for painting. The cost of this service here is lower than the competitors' prices. After the modernization of the equipment, the plant obtained a permit for work with Boeing-737. (Evgeny Voitsekhovich, Director General of RUE "Minsk Aircraft Repair Plant") In the near future the plant will continue the modernization. The equipment will be renewed and will cost USD 2 million.
